WHAT IS A FRENCH PRESS?
Commonly known as a ‘French Press’, this style of manual coffee making is perhaps the best way to make rich, full-flavored coffee. By allowing coarse ground coffee (the grind you should always use in a French press) to infuse completely with the entire body of hot water over a few minutes; the flavors and oils extracted from the grounds in this process offer a true coffee taste unmatched by any other style of brewing.

- Brews 1 litres, or 34 oz. of the best tasting coffee or tea, allowing the fullest flavor extraction of your favorite coffee or tea.
- Three Stainless Steel plate filter press system. A strong coil spring will keep the mesh filter tight to the glass beaker wall so as not to allow coffee grinds to pass by during pressing or pouring.
- Always use coarse ground coffee for best results in a french press, (3 tablespoons per 300 ml coffee mug). You can also use this french press to make loose leaf tea or blooming tea.

Exactly what I needed! Holds heat for about 1,5-2 hrs
Excellent French Press with a Mission! I already have one French press, and the only problem I always wanted to fix with it is that it didn’t hold the temperature! And I love to sip my coffee/tee slowly.This French press was a perfect answer! As soon as I saw it online, I was very excited to try it out. It’s a nice looking, good quality product. I would like to stress: good quality. It is solid, sturdy, all parts a robust, the chrome is shiny and the filter mesh is fine and efficient. .Capacity is enough for two big mug. It filters really well, leaving no residue in the coffee poured into a mug, and is cleaned really easy. The glass is good quality and the whole press structure is robust – I see no ways it could be broken any time soon. But the BEST thing about it is the “coat” – neoprene sleeve that keeps the French press warm for a while. I have tested it for the period of 1 to 2 hours – after one hour the tea/coffee was pleasantly hot. By the end of second hour – just warm, but still…
Our Grosche Fino 34 oz Coffee/Tea French Press arrived today, 2 days early, so that was a really nice surprise! First, I want to say, I did not realize that I bought a product from a company with a clean water mission. That made me feel really great about ordering this product. Their website is on the box, I checked it out and loved the fact their product sales allow them to do humanitarian work at a larger scale.Now onto the French Press itself. The glass feels delicate, which most French Presses do. The great thing about this particular French Press is the cozy velcro jacket it comes with. It is well made, the velcro is good and it has a see through cut out to view the color of your coffee or tea.I work at a tea shop, so it is my job to explain to customers how to use a brewing item for the first time. Wash, rinse and follow instructions. I did warm up the glass pitcher by rinsing it with hot water from its first wash, put the jacket on, put in my loose leaf…
