It clogged real quick! I have had this coffee maker for 1 1/2 weeks. I tried to brew a cup of coffee and it wouldn’t drip. I took out the k cup and got a nice cup of hot water, but when I put in a new k cup, nothing came out. It gave me an error message. I went to the internet to look up how to clean this thing.I saw that there was an orange cup you put in the chamber that has a plastic ball in it so the needle can be cleaned. Mine didn’t come with this cleaning device. They sell them for 30 dollars and up! Well, I finally got the phone number for customer service and called them. They will send me a new cleaning device for free with free shipping. I also didn’t get a manual but printed one from the web. I guess I needed to research a little more before using this. You should push down on the k cup before closing the unit. The pods of coffee are under some pressure. This will shoot some grinds up into the needle causing it to clog. Well, I will now try to clean it using the paper clip method I learned…
Buyer beware! This is the worst Keurig model I have ever purchased. The first use blew the coffee grains through the pod and into the cup and said there was needle maintenance issues. I had to perform maintenance on a machine that had never been used! After doing all of the maintenance and troubleshooting with the Keurig tech, the machine continued doing the same thing. Keurig sent a replacement model which I received weeks later and the replacement does the same thing as the first one. I have to perform needle maintenance three times a week on this model and it blows through at least three pods a week. Donât waste your money or time with this model. Itâs a frustration that no one needs at 5am.
