Don’t buy this if you really like coffee The red appliance itself is beautiful on my countertop however it only drains amber-colored water. It seems like there is a path straight through the pod that does not allow all the coffee in the pod to be moistened before it drains into my cup. I have tried several ways unsuccessfully to help the machine retain a small amount of water for a little longer but it angers me that I bought a machine that is supposed to save time and I am going through all these extra steps just to get a cup of coffee. My next idea is to lodge part of a toothpick in the drain to slow the waterflow. I hope I don’t get burned.
Nice Keurig for the Office! My wife purchased this for me to use in my office. But, don’t let the term “K-compact” dictate the size of this machine. It’s a pretty standard size machine but it does work well on the table in the back of my office…see photos. may not fit in smaller areas or under low hanging cabinets. My only complaint, and it’s not that big of a deal, but anything much taller than a Tervis cup may not fit under the dispenser. You can remove the drip tray to accommodate a slightly larger cup but it may not fit all sizes. Otherwise, it’s easy to operate and works as advertised.
Makes a great gift I bought this for my son in law for Christmas. I gave it to him yesterday. He hadn’t had a Keurig before, he went home and made his first cup and loved it. Great features I bought it for was the removable large reservoir. We also purchased two reusable k cups and he said it worked great. I may buy one for hubby since our son in law liked it so much.
